We intend to purchase a stake of up to 74.9% in the project using a mix of funding that will allow local investors including residents, community groups and other organisations.

If successful, this would make the Big Field England’s largest community-owned wind farm, and the first in the UK to operate without government subsidy – but we need your help to make it happen.

The project proposes 11 wind turbines on a farmland site south of Bude, generating enough power for up to 22,000 homes.
